You want to take one of the nicer features in the game out just because you're too lazy to close a window? That's borderline retarded.
I've had multiple golds, a black dye, etc. that have dropped on the final enemy of a mission and that I would never have gotten without that window, and you want to take it away because you are too lazy to do a single click? Nevermind, forget the borderline part.

its very useful window cause you wont miss any items and shouldn't blame your party members "wtf you zoned - i didnt pick my black dye drop"
small improvement that can be added is a button - "sell all to merchant (if available)"

/signed against "english language imitations"
If you want to be heard and get a reply - at least have a respect to readers, who will try to read your "so-called" English. If you unable to do this - use Babelfish.com - bfish english at least more readable than yours. If you cant - uninstall please

1, his english isn't as bad as some of you imply. It was bad, but with half a seconds thought it made sense to me.

2, Learn to live with it, it's one of the most positive things Anet has worked into the game. So it takes a couple minutes to merchant the stuff 1 slot at a time, it's free gold in the end.
And a note on that, I've a lvl 20, that is very flexible, 55/SS- SS - MM - and a new Grenths Balance build in the works.

I can still keep ALL 3 armor sets, weapons, appropropriate keys, ID, Salvage kit, troll tusk pile, and a minipet. I use no backpack storage, and have a spot here and there left on one bag. Use a little inventory management skills, and you'll not have a problem with accepting new items and merchanting them.

Unless you're one of those guys running around with an inventory full of halloween items, as well as christmas items for sale constantly. Learn to let go man.
I swear, if the effort these people put into selling that crap(alcohol aside of course) they'd make way more money farming, and not annoy everyone i nthe process.

Sorry, offtopic rant.....

I was going to post something constructive, but after reading the OP I can only agree with Antheus.

This feature is something that saves a player grief. I was happy to see it when I finished a mission, I was bummed because of all the loot I never had a chance to get before the movie rolled...and then, BAM! the unclaimed loot window saved the day.

The game is, rightfully, designed and centered around the people that are making the mission runs because they need to make the runs and might actually need gold/mats/drops... <shock>

Still half of those who reply can't read properly...
Ok so his english isn't all that but what he wanted to say was pretty clear to me.
He's not saying anything about the window popping up at all... He's just stating his annoyance about the window Re-appearing after you closed it.
Now i dunno what everyone else here read in his message but this is what it is about.

I love and depend on that window, especially in Factions where you are being timed on the missions. I don't want to waste time picking up stuff when I'm trying for masters. I'll just leave it and collect it all when I'm back in town.

I guess it's never been a problem for me, as I usually just keep the window open until I make room in inventory for those items.

In fact, I never even KNEW that the window keeps popping up because 3 secs at the merchant, voila, problem solved.

Honestly, I've never had that problem. Once I close the window, it stays closed.

This is just another whine!

If you want anyone to care, you need to use proper spelling and grammer first. If you REALLY want it to be changed, write a formal business letter to Anet.

We need a skill balancing overhaul, not some petty UI change that benefits <1% of the population.

The box of items needs to be emptied...so you empty it...go to a damn merchant and sell/salvage the crap. Then <gasp> the box will go away!

If you can't be arsed to sell to a merchant then you are probably the same sort of person that would love to be fed intravenously to cut down on all that tedious chewing and hey why bother with the bathroom? Can't we all just wear adult diapers? That would be sweet too right? Honestly this is the laziest thing ever. Presumably anything you do pick up is going to be either stored or merched anyway. You WILL free up some space almost immediately after every mission so why even bother to whine about this? I mean if you can find a use for every POS gold or purple you pick up in mission then good on you but I know seven out of ten times I sell that crap to merchants.

The OP wins the prize for the most pointless and idiotic piss and moan session ever.
